Hi friends! My name is Katy Michael and I am an adventure-seeking, Disney-loving, and Christ-adoring 21 year old born and raised in Arlington, Tx.

Since completing and exceeding my Associate's Degree of the Arts at Tarrant County Community College in December of 2015, I am currently awaiting a transfer out to the University of Texas at Arlington after returning home in 2018 to pursue my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work, hoping to specialize in child and adolescent psychiatric therapy. My heartbeat is to see the Lord's most beloved creation- His people- come to know, love, adore, and chase after His heart with the entirety of theirs. In pursuit of seeing that heartbeat become a reality, the Lord has allowed me to serve in several roles, functioning as a summer camp counselor, a Children's Ministry intern, small group leader, and teacher, and a babysitter/nanny to several kiddos in my community. Evidently, the Lord has placed within me the desire to love on and chase after His youngest children!

The colors orange, aqua, and yellow make me smile, otters are my favorite animals to watch videos of on the internet, I suffer from severe cuteness overload anytime I see tiny animals or babies (or "nuggets" as I like to call them), and "Finding Nemo" will forever be my favorite movie. I could eat my body weight in sushi and street tacos and am a firm believer that brownie batter is always the superior option over baked brownies. Sunshine fills my heart with joy and my favorite time spent with the Lord is outside enjoying His beautiful creation!
